Darmasiswa

Darmasiswa is a scholarship program organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia aimed at providing opportunities for students from various countries to learn and deepen their understanding of the language, culture, and life in Indonesia. This program offers international students the chance to participate in study programs at various universities in Indonesia, including Universitas Esa Unggul (UEU). Through the Darmasiswa program, participants can develop their Indonesian language skills, broaden their knowledge of Indonesian culture, and expand their international networks. Thus, the program not only supports cultural exchange and enhances cross-cultural understanding but also enriches the academic and social experiences of participants in a dynamic multicultural environment.

DARMASISWA is a one-year non-degree scholarship program offered by the Indonesian government to all non-Indonesian citizens from countries which Indonesia has diplomatic relations with to study Indonesian language, arts, music, crafts and other specific subjects at 72 Indonesian Higher Education Institutions selected in various cities in Indonesia. This program is organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (MoECRT), Ministry of Finance (MoF), and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) of the Republic of Indonesia.

The main objective of the Darmasiswa program is to increase and cultivate interest in Indonesian Language and Indonesian Culture among citizens from other countries. It is also designed to increase mutual understanding and provide stronger cultural bonds between different nations.
