Muhammad Dhafi Iskandar, SE., M.Sc., DBA, a lecturer from the Faculty of Economics and Business at Universitas Esa Unggul, recently participated in the international conference titled “Economic Law and Its Challenges in the Global Unrest Situation” held on April 16, 2025, at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS) in Seoul, South Korea. The event was organized by the Korean Association of Vietnamese-Indonesian Law & Culture Studies (KAVINL&CS) and brought together academics and legal practitioners from various countries to discuss the dynamics of economic law amid global uncertainty.

The conference was officially opened by Prof. Dr. Byun Haecheol, President of KAVINL&CS, who emphasized the importance of international cooperation in addressing global challenges through adaptive and innovative legal approaches. Throughout the event, several legal experts from South Korea, Colombia, Vietnam, and other countries presented on key topics such as the transformation of commercial law, data protection in the digital era, and the strengthening of arbitration systems as mechanisms for resolving business disputes.

This forum provided valuable insights into how economic law continues to evolve worldwide. The main lessons from the conference highlighted the importance of developing a global perspective on economic law, understanding comparative legal developments, and promoting cross-border collaboration and innovation in response to the challenges of the times.
