
Universitas Esa Unggul (UEU), through its Faculty of Law, successfully held an International Guest Lecture in collaboration with Walailak University, Thailand. The lecture, titled “Comparative Intellectual Property Law: Regional Perspectives & Emerging Global Trends,” was conducted to broaden students’ academic insight on current issues in intellectual property law from an international perspective.

This event was part of the implementation of the international partnership between Universitas Esa Unggul and Walailak University, established through a signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The guest lecture aimed to support the internationalization of higher education and to strengthen academic collaboration between the two institutions.
The session featured two guest lecturers from the School of Law, Walailak University—Kanokphol Nikornpest, Esq., LL.M. and Nodtapol Buangern, Esq., LL.M.—who presented comparative perspectives on Thailand’s intellectual property law and its alignment with global legal frameworks. The lecture also included an interactive discussion with students, allowing for an engaging academic exchange.

The session was moderated by Athina Kartika Sari ,SH,LLM, a lecturer from the Faculty of Law at UEU, who led the discussion with professionalism and enthusiasm. Students showed high levels of interest and engagement throughout the event.
This lecture reaffirmed Universitas Esa Unggul’s commitment to expanding its global academic network and fostering a competitive, internationally oriented learning environment for its academic community.
