An unforgettable adventure adorned a week filled with vibrant colors during the 2023 Immersion Program, held for a week from July 23rd to July 29th, 2023. Kicking off with excitement at the Kemala Ballroom on Esa Unggul University Campus in Jakarta, the atmosphere brimmed with participants’ enthusiasm.
Meeting participants from diverse backgrounds at Esa Unggul University in Jakarta, the first day was celebrated with a lively opening ceremony. A comprehensive campus tour helped participants familiarize themselves with important locations on campus, while Indonesian language learning provided a balanced serious undertone.
The second day delved into deep learning phases, dividing participants into classes for Public Relations, Management, and Biotechnology. Creativity and interaction among participants fostered a unique and valuable learning atmosphere.
The journey to the Textile Museum on the third day not only provided cultural insights but also sparked creative activities with batik workshops and cooking traditional Betawi cuisine, Kerak Telor. Pantai Indah Kapuk bore witness to camaraderie filled with joy.
The fourth day brought participants to experience the beauty of nature at Citra Alam Riverside, Cisarua – Bogor, with a ceramic workshop that ignited creativity. A crucial point was gaining a deeper understanding of Indonesia’s cultural uniqueness and diversity.
The journey to Esa Unggul University Bekasi on the fifth day provided a different atmosphere and an angklung workshop that fostered harmony. The lively closing ceremony featured unique performances and certificate presentations as a token of appreciation for participants’ involvement.
The journey continued to captivate on the sixth day, exploring iconic Jakarta destinations and savoring its rich history and culture. Thamrin City and Grand Indonesia added a modern touch, culminating in the sensation of using Jakarta’s MRT.
The final day was filled with emotions as participants bid farewell. This experience leaves the hope that the memories and knowledge gained will continue to guide their life’s journey.
